- 1
Choose a suitable device
Check browser, codec, audio and output-resolution support. Do not assume untested hardware is compatible. - 2
Open the player URL
Open the URL in the intended device's browser and confirm a pairing code appears.https://rechsign.com/tv
- 3
Pair the display
In panel.rechsign.com, open Screens and enter the code shown in the browser. - 4
Configure startup
Use the device's documented kiosk or autostart setup to keep the browser visible. Opening the URL once does not guarantee launch after a power cycle. - 5
Field-test playback
Test a full playlist and video, then reboot and network loss on the same hardware before production.
Troubleshooting
The browser closes or the device UI takes over
Review the device's kiosk and startup options. If unavailable, use an installed player or supported hardware instead of relying on an ordinary tab.
Video does not play
Check codec and hardware-decoding support on the browser and device, then try a compatible test file.
Frequently asked questions
Is a browser player the same as the Android APK?
No. The browser path is a web player. The Android APK is a separate installed app with its own setup and device permissions.
Does any browser work offline?
No. Offline behavior depends on storage support, cached media and whether the browser remains open. Test it on the intended device.
